How to measure your head for a wig

Wigs has become more and more popular these years, the craft of wigs has also been improved a lot. Every girl own more than two wigs to cater their different looks. So how to choose a suitable wig is a popular topic in modern society. We care about the wigs quality, price, useful life, but most importantly, we want to choose a wig which could fit our head very well.

Today, I want to introduce how to measure your head for a wig and share some experience about how to choose a suitable wig.

Taking the proper steps before measuring gives you an accurate size. If your hair is long, gather the hair into a low ponytail. If you have short hair, mold your hair down with a product, and apply a wig cap to lay your hair further down.

Here is the measurement process:

Forehead to Nape. Start the tape from the center of the front of your hairline, to the hairline at the nape of the neck.

Ear to Ear. Start the tape from one Ear to the other Ear.

Circumference. Lay the tape around the back of your head touching the base of your skull at a point where the wig will end and pull it forward just above your ears. Position the end of the tape at the mid-point of your front hairline. This will measure your head 'circumference'.

Studies show that 95% of the population wears an average or medium wig cap size. Majority of wigs come in the average/medium cap sizes but come with adjustable straps in the back.

Our medium cap size wig is from 21.5inches-23.5inches,It has an elastics band on the back. Adjustable straps allow you to adjust the overall size of your wig for the best and most relaxed fit.
